The Senate Appropriations' Transportation Subcommittee, chaired by Senator Patty Murray, released a draft FY 2011 spending bill this morning.

Given the tough federal budget situation, WA State fared well in earmarks: thanks in large part to Senator Murray's leadership.

Here are the earmarks for WSDOT projects:

U.S. 12 Safety Improvements, $1,000,000
Washington State Ferries System Investments, $2,000,000
Keller Ferry Replacement Project, $2,000,000
WSF, SAFETEA-LU Set-Aside, $5,000,000
I-5 West Coast Green Highway (charging stations), $1,000,000
Columbia River Crossing, $2,000,000
Columbia River Crossing, FTA New Starts, $40,000,000

I'll have the complete list, including local agency earmarks, later today.  Or you can check Sen. Murray's website. (link repaired)
